Ipsos iSay

Project 1
Project Overview
Ipsos iSay is a survey platform where users can take various market research surveys to redeem rewards such as gift cards or cash transfers.
Problem Space
The platform sees low user commitment caused by feelings of confusion and dissatisfaction, which can be fixed through thorough research and a redesign of how the platform appears to the user.
Project Goals
The goals for this project were to formulate a new extendable design system for the surveys section of the website to attract more user traffic compared to competitor sites (e.g., yougov.com).

There were also goals to develop methods to make surveys more efficient, useful, and engaging to support their retention on the site, as well as to make the site more competitive. Integrate developed ideas into the existing website.

The last goal was to assess and subsequently apply design choices such that the utility of the website and survey forms are improved to ensure a seamless user experience for the service.
Project Activities Overview
One of the first activities that was done was to perform a competitive analysis on multiple different survey platforms. This is an example of one of the companies (Opinion Outpost) that was used to highlight any useful features that we can utilize to fix the current pain points of the service.
A heuristic analysis was performed to visualize the known problems that were spread throughout the current website. Below is an example of one of Nielson's hueriostics that were utilzed.
An additional activity that was conducted was to create a user flow of the improved pages for the service that was cross-referenced during the creation of the final deliverable.
This is an example of one of the sketches that I had ideated to create the improved version of the website. I had innovated the idea to include a progress bar for the surveys to include gamification to the survey taking process to increase user retention.
A low-fidelity prototype was later constructed with a different approach that utilizes a reward system with extra points to encourage user retention every week.
This is a screenshot of the final prototype that had utilized my design into creating the progress bar. I had additionaly asssisted with the interactiovity of the final design.
